FAQ'S

• What type of warranty do you give? Vortex Ute and Truck decks are warranted for 3 years from the date of application, against normal wear and tear

• Do you offer colours? A full range of colours are available and can be matched to most vehicles.

• How thick is the deck liner? Our recommended thickness is 2.5mm (or a little less than 1/8 of an inch). Vortex can be sprayed thicker for an additional charge if required.

• What are the differences between Vortex and other brands? We offer stronger UV protection from the suns harmful rays. This means that VORTEX holds its colour better and will not chalk over time.

• How long does it take to spray? Times vary depending on the size of the vehicle, but a vehicle is normally needed for about 8 hours to complete the job.

• How much does it cost? Pricing for VORTEX application starts from $500 (plus GST)

• Can it be applied to wood, plastic, fibreglass etc? VORTEX can be applied to many surfaces for many applications. Basically, if it can be painted then it can probably be coated with VORTEX. And it provides exceptional waterproofing to protect your valuable asset.

• Is it chemical resistant? Yes, VORTEX is resistant to many chemicals. See our technical information for further specifications.

• How long does it take to dry prior to using it? VORTEX is usually touch-dry within 30 seconds at average room temperature. VORTEX will be capable of of light use within 8 hours and fully cured to our proven strength within 24 hours (depending on temperature). Colder weather may slow the full cure time slightly.

• Can you spray over the rails/topcaps? Yes, VORTEX can be sprayed over rails and topcaps, providing added protection.
